At Balloon & Beyond, we pledge to be as sustainable as we can with our products and services.
We are committed to using only high quality and 100% biodegradable latex balloons. We do not condone balloon releases as these can be extremely hazardous to animals and ecosystems. Balloons cannot biodegrade in water and so can cause sea pollution.
Foil balloons are not biodegradable as they are made from mylar. If they come into contact with power lines, they can cause power surges and fires.
Here are some of our favourite alternatives to balloon releases:
• Bubbles
• Planting trees
• Flying wish papers
• Scattering flower petals/seeds
• Pinwheels
Celebrate with balloons but please don’t let them go!
